  • Automatic Leave assignment for the following Leave year based on seniority,  the individual entitlements, the rules set, and the Leave requests from crew.

Automated Crew HOTAC & Travel Management

 
  • Block Hotel & Transport bookings sent directly to Supplier.

  • Database holds all Hotel & Transport Costs for each Supplier as defined by Airline.

  • All Changes to bookings available to the HOTAC Department for action without advice by Crewing.

  • Audit Trail of all changes for easy tracking.

Crew Allowance Calculations

 
  • Calculation of allowances for any period and group of crew.

  • Very flexible, User-defined parameters on how allowances are to be calculated, based on type of crew, type of flight or ground duty, time away from base, including separate calculations for training flights.

  • Breakfast, lunch, dinner allowance calculations based on time of day and airport/country where crew layover takes place.

  • Option to download crew allowance information to a Payroll System.

 

APIS / MCL Manifests

 
  • The AIMS APIS forms transmission application, allows the User to transmit a message either manually or automatically to Customs Authorities.

  • Manual transmission allows for the selection of a particular flight or a set of flights, followed by transmission of the form to a SITA or email address selected by the User.

  • Automatic transmission allows the application to monitor flights due to depart within a time interval specified by the User and automatically generates and sends the forms to a SITA or email address predefined by the User.

  • Generates an initial Master Crew List (MCL) for all crew as well as a short MCL message each time biographical data about a crew change.

  • The User has the option to setup the APIS to send the forms to any country that is required to conform to these regulations.

  • Support for Australian and New Zealand APP requirements.

  • If there is a crew change after the APIS manifest has been sent, AIMS automatically re-transmits a new one with the new crew on board.

  • To avoid any fines and make sure APIS do get transmitted to the Authorities, AIMS does a double check and issues a warning to the Ops Controllers on shift if APIS has been delayed or not sent.

 

Crew Exposure to Cosmic Radiation

 
  • Tracks Crew exposure to Cosmic Radiation, and issues warnings when limits are exceeded.

  • Allows you to assess, inform Crew, take special provisions and additional protective measures.

  • System interfaces with CARI-6, EPCARD or PCAIRE to calculate actual radiation dosage.

  • Various rules can be set in order to monitor Cosmic Radiation.

  • Reports on total exposure to radiation per crew member and period selected.

 

Establishment Planning

  • Ability to view their schedule for any number of days, including:

  • Crew schedule changes are highlighted, the details of the change can be viewed and acknowledged which in turn automatically update AIMS and mark the crew as having been notified

  • Provides detail description of each flight including estimated times

  • Ability for the crew to view who they are flying with

  • Memos attached to each duty by the schedulers can be viewed

Bidline Selection

  • Allows instructors at the end of each training course to input via the Internet all training results including electronic signature. Upon completion of Training assessment form AIMS automatically updates crew training records and recalculates training expiry dates.

  • An unlimited number of Training assessment forms may be designed easily using Microsoft Word and then tied to each training component in the course syllabus.

  • Training assessment forms already completed by Instructors may be viewed, and certified also by Training Managers, including their electronic signature.

Automated E-mail / Fax Communication Facility

 
  • Directs any AIMS report to User-nominated fax / e-mail addresses (e.g. sending  crew schedules to  the e-mail address of each crew member, faxing HOTAC requirements to hotels  or any other AIMS report to any fax/e-mail address of the  User’s choice).

  • Transmit by email a User-entered text message, together with an attachment, to any crew of any qualification or assigned duty (e.g., email  messages to all pilots who are scheduled simulator training  in the next month).

  • Creation of separate address books for each report to facilitate quick transmission of the same report to many addresses simultaneously at a press of a button.

 

Message Distribution System

 
  • Automatic transmission of messages to all User departments following flight  schedule changes.

  • Facility is configured to ensure only messages of relevant interest to each department are received (e.g. message to catering when pax load changes, to MD when flights canceled or delayed, to crewing when new flights introduced, to HOTAC when change requires hotel rebooking, etc).

  • Recipients of messages may also include SITA addresses (e.g. handling agents, tour operators, etc).

  • Messages may also be transmitted to pre-defined e-mail addresses thus eliminating the need for local or remote recipients to have AIMS installed or have a SITA address.

SMS Messaging

 
  • Allows transmission of SMS messages to cell phones in one or more of the following cases:

  • Crew schedule changes trigger an SMS message for the crew to take action and find the details of the change in one of the following methods:

  • By selecting the link displayed at the end of the SMS message which takes the crew directly to the AIMS Mobile Internet application (if installed) on the day(s) where the schedule was changed, from where they can acknowledge the change and update automatically AIMS

  • By visiting e-Crew or IVR to get the schedule changes

  • By contacting Crew Control

  • Delayed flights over a certain amount of time again trigger an SMS message for the crew which acts as a notification message and handled the way described above.

  • When the Message Distribution System (MDS) module is in place, messages generated due to flight schedule changes can be transmitted as an SMS message, in addition to email/fax/SITA to any airline staff or airline reps.

  • A User-entered SMS text may be sent to any group of crew using different selection criteria and filters such as SMS only to the crew who are assigned a particular duty in a particular period.

 

CTI – Phone Dialer

 
  • Relieves Crew Control Staff from having to look for phone numbers, and dialing the number, by allowing them to call any crew with just a click.

  • Supports most popular PBX’s (AVAYA, SIEMENS, ERICSSON, ALCATEL etc).

 

Technical Publications Management

 
  • An efficient and accurate means of handling input and modification of technical publication records and actions associated with their distribution, tracking and generation of reports.
