AIMS Inc., founded in 1973, is a large, highly successful and expanding Canadian-owned company. It was originally formed under the name of Computer Data Corp in Toronto, Canada operating as Mainframe Automation Consultants in the Government and Private Sectors.

Since 1983, AIMS Inc. has been engaged exclusively in the Development and Support of the AIMS package with the Head Office registered in the United Kingdom. Sales and Support Offices are based in Miami, USA and Athens, Greece.

Despite the global nature of its operations, AIMS Inc., still retains its original close knit family organization essential for the provision of personalized service and involvement that client airlines have come to value greatly.

As the established market leader, AIMS Inc., has more "complete" systems than any other vendor in successful operational service worldwide with the broadest diversification of airline categories and sizes. This has resulted in the accumulation of more than double the "real time" experience base of its nearest competitor.

Certification from UK (UKAS) to the globally recognized ISO 9001: 2000 quality standard validates that AIMS has the capability to provide its customers with the best possible quality product and support.

The advantages of AIMS are fully recognized by the IBM International Airline Support Center in the UK with whom AIMS Inc. has a joint marketing agreement.

AIMS Inc., is a Registered (IT) Consultant with the International Civil Aviation Organizations (ICAO) Airline Technical Assistance Bureau in Montreal, Canada, offering its extensive and unequaled experience in Crew, Aircraft, Flight Management and Operations Control automation to the international airline industry.

AIMS has been evaluated and assessed by the U.K. CAA and U.S. FAA Flight Operations Inspectorate responsible for monitoring airline crew scheduling standards as being: "Impressive."

AIMS has been approved by more than 38 National Civil Aviation Authorities around the world.

AIMS has been evaluated by AIRBUS Industries and supplied to a National Flag Carrier as a recommended Airbus Aircraft Flight Operations Support Package, and BOEING is an AIMS Client.

AIMS Inc. has far greater product development and support resources exclusively engaged on the AIMS project with a much lower cost base than any of its competitors. By comparison, AIMS Inc. has double the number of experienced long-term service airline specialists than its nearest competitor.  These resources are exclusively engaged full time in the ongoing development of AIMS to ensure that it maintains its cutting edge position in airline operations system development.

Another key factor that is influencing a steadily increasing number of airlines to select AIMS as their first system choice or to replace existing systems is AIMS is already a complete, fully developed, “tested,” integrated and extensive operationally-proven system with resultant unequaled maturity and reliability.  As such, AIMS only requires minimal support.

In the international airline industry since 1983, AIMS Inc. has developed and established a “legendary” reputation for client support that is second to none, a reputation that any of our existing client airlines will be pleased to verify upon request.

.

Introductory training on AIMS Crew, Aircraft, Flight Management and Operations Control takes (15) days. Client airlines can be fully operational on AIMS within (20) days of software delivery. To maintain efficiency of system operation after initial training, it is recommended that client airlines establish their own internal annual recurrent/refresher training programs and procedures for AIMS system Users and technical support, including network administrators (if established). AIMS Inc., can provide highly experienced training personnel on site if required.

A comprehensive range of departmental, section and individually-based User/technical introductory, recurrent and refresher training programs are offered. These are designed to specifically address the needs and requirements of individual AIMS client airlines, enabling them to use, control and manage their AIMS software to optimum effect.

Full assistance is offered in identifying training needs, the optimum time for training and whether these needs would be best serviced by standardized or customized courses.

In addition to the recommended training courses at the AIMS Training Center, on-site courses can be undertaken at the client airline’s own offices.

Through clear guidance, advice and tuition, AIMS Inc., can help develop the client airline’s ability to fully utilize the power, performance and flexibility of AIMS in order to:

  • Efficiently operate and maintain AIMS.

  • Implement the best methods to improve Flight, Aircraft and Crew Resource Management using AIMS.

  • Understand the most efficient and effective ways of using AIMS and its many features and extensive functionality.

  • Expand and improve AIMS Usage, identify and add any customization too meet airline expansion or changed operational organization and procedures. As well as maintaining an in-depth understanding of AIMS applications, all the members of our Client Airline Training Team are Specialists within the fields of Crew, Aircraft, Flight Management and Operations Control.
