Viewing/Printing Word 97/2000 documents

If you don’t have Word 97/2000 you can still view/print Word 97/2000 documents by installing a free program (from Microsoft) called Word 97/2000 Viewer.  You can search for the  Word 97/2000  viewer at:

Browser Information

Notice! You may need to clear your cache!
Browsers "cache" pages (in other words, they fetch the web page and save it to your hard drive for faster loading). Unfortunately, if the page has been sitting in the cache for a while, you may be seeing very outdated information. The trick is to clear your cache and reload, and suddenly new information may appear on the page. In Netscape's browsers, go to the Edit menu, select Preferences, choose the Cache section (under "advanced") and click the "Clear Cache" buttons. In Microsoft's Internet Explorer, go to the View menu, choose Internet Options, select the General tab, and click the "Delete Files" button. For America Online customers, you'll need to call America Online or visit member services, and request the page you need updated.

Downloading Zip Files

Save It!
Once you've selected a file to download, a window pops up, prompting you to decide where to save the file. Navigate to the desired directory and save the file. Note: if the file just begins downloading without asking where to save it, try right-clicking the files you want, and select "Save link as...".

Unzip It!
To save you time in downloading, nearly every file is compressed. Once saved to your hard disk, use your decompression program, such as PKUnzip Reader (free) or WinZip, to expand it into a usable file.
